"I do wish we could chat longer, but I'm having an old friend for dinner."

Befitting Hannibal's terrifying organ-munching insanity, barrel M768 is the highest proof of our lovely cask strength, unfiltered seven year MGP ryes bottled by Barrell Bourbon. At 115.12 proof, this sucker puts the lotion in the basket!

This is it folks, the last 7 Year MGP Rye we're getting for 2020. Thankfully we got 174 bottles out of this barrel (the last one was only 90 bottles total!) so there should be a little more to go around. We'd still recommend clearing that cart and then coming back to read the rest of this. With the power lineup we've got this week, stuff's gonna go fast. Apologies as always if anyone gets this and everything is gone. Please stay with us, we're loading up a ton of amaze-balls barrels for the winter/spring!

Did you think all wasps were pretty much psychotic? Well, think again. Perhaps the nastiest critter in our entire Murder Hornet series, Hannibel Nectar will escape from his confinements with the aid of a stray pen or paper clip, sting you just enough that you won't move around too much, and then chow you down with a nice chianti.

This punchy rye has a huge base of oak, leather, and tobacco, which is exactly what you want! The big richness is there in spades holding down the heat with beautiful wood, "men's club" stuff - old cracked leather, flaky cigar tobacco. Then come the baking spices, huge vanilla, cocoa, brown butter. And then the third wave on the nose is the spices, chiles, peppercorns, herbs, flowers, and dill. Spicy bbq meets baking spices, who would'a thunk? The finish is perfect: long, warm, very little heat and a ton of flavor leaves your tongue coated in wood and sweets and spices. Just lovely.
