Our hero, Pickly McBrine just can't seem to go anywhere without blowing up an entire building, saving his sweetheart, and generally kicking ass. This time he's holed up at LAX where a group of spicy terroristos have taken over air traffic control. Well, please sit back and enjoy the ride as things get SALTY!

This Warehouse K barrel was distilled, quite appropriately, the day after Christmas when PIckly McBrine was tending to his wounds and relishing in victory! It was bottled in July of this year, making it nine years and seven months old.

The nose on this one is like shortbread cookies. Sweet crumbly butter, flaky brown crumbs, huge vanilla, cream, there's little pops of black Twizzlers and cinnamon. Given 10 minutes in the air, it opens up with huge classic oak & leather. Sweet charred wood, old leather polish, a hefty dose of pipe tobacco. It's just a lovely classic Wild Turkey nose, everything we absolutely love in a bourbon.

The palate is very spice with a lot of pop. More of that black licorice, serious barbecue notes - chiles, brown sugar, cumin, black pepper. This is not a mellow pick, it's big and bold lets you know you're in for some action!

The finish is an explosion of wood, sweet brown butter, baking spices, and candy. It's a big, front-of-the-toungue finish. Not the kind that slowly creeps up the back of your throat, but more of the big sweet candy punch finish that immediately fills your mouth.
