It’s here! Our first Beast Masters Club Bourbon!

After the mega hits of our four Beast Masters Club Rye barrels, many of you wrote in and said “hey cask strength 8 year old MGP rye is killer, can you do the same for bourbon?” And the answer is YES! Yes we can!

This one is EPIC. The high (36%) rye recipe from MGP is our favorite. It’s big, it’s spicy, it’s sweet, it’s DELICIOUS! And this particular barrel is one of the best we’ve ever tasted.

The nose comes at you sweet and spicy right out of the glass. Caramel and nougat meet cinnamon and candied orange peels. There’s a ton of wood and it’s a powerful beast and all the flavors come together into a classic MGP bourbon nose for the ages. Boom!

On the palate it’s so warm and viscous, just coating your tongue in wonderful cocoa and cream, and then the charred wood entering the scene, kind of like campfire smores. The spice comes back on the finish for a wicked long warm and smooth ending with just the right amount of bite to let you know you’re drinking a 120+ proof beast.
