Get ready for the eldest in a long line of killer ryes!

If you’ve been lucky enough to collect our line of Beast Masters Club “Hipster Beaver” rye releases from the beginning, you’re sitting on a treasure trove of awesome rye. The first two gold wax 8-year releases (barrels 11 & 12) were amazing. Then the two yellow wax 8-Year bottles were dope (we left barrel numbers off these, oops!). The black label/wax Nine Year Rye (#79) was probably the best yet.

But we’re just warning you, this 10 Year is even better.

Right off the bat when you see the bottle, it’s got a dark rich root beer color that makes you want to dive in and swim around.

On the nose: deep vanilla, char, leather, wood. Some of that sarsaparilla root beer / cream soda kind of flavor. The mouthfeel is super viscous, thick. At 120 proof, it’s just about perfect for this beast. It really coats the tongue and gives you that warm, oily goodness that you look for in a nicely aged rye.

The palate goes very deep on the cream and char and kind of nice warm wood, and the finish is long, wildly drinkable for the proof, and finishes with caramel and some earl grey tea flavors. Very well balanced.
